Kewsound Recording Studios exists for musicians, and I hope we can help make your dreams come true...
Kewsound Studios are a fully equipped, soundproofed and purpose designed suite of Recording studios, with rehearsal space,
in the picturesque rural village of Kewstoke near Weston super Mare, serving the Somerset, Avon and many other
Southwest areas, just 5 minutes drive from the M5. Folks often travel quite
far because of our good reputation.
We are regarded as one of the best recording studios, and are probably the most affordable suites
in Southwest England. We also hire the rooms for band rehearsal. The rooms have
excellent acoustics, we do music & audio (books) recording and maintain on-site equipment availability. Kewsound has just been equipped
with a state of the art audio digital system with unlimited tracks and a multitude of effects gear (latest upgrade now May 2011!). Currently we are actively looking
for new bands for both rehearsing and recording and have a number of slots available. We also offer a Mastering Service for your finished mixes.
Kewsound Recording Studios Mission Statement
Kewsound Studios aims are to provide affordable and high quality premises and equipment to musicians, both for rehearsal and recording; to make musicians (and other audio recorders) experience at the studios positive; and to try and give to the community fun, friendship, help and activities. Any 'profits' generated by the company will be used primarily to expand these aims.
Kewsound is owned and run by Jack Frost a rock/blues musician who has played in a number of bands over the years, and plays Lead, Rhythm, Acoustic and Bass Guitars. Jack also has 14+ years of multi-track recording experience both analogue (tape) and software/digital based. Many famous, not-so-famous-but-great, and wanna have fun musicians have come here, our studio acoustics and soundproofing are of the highest quality, and all our staff and associates are passionate about both music and recording. We also have experience of audio book recording and understand and know the particular requirements for this specialization. Currently, almost all the revenue we get is being reinvested into increasing and improving what we already have to offer.
Our aim is that Kewsound Studios provide affordable, quality premises, facilities and service to musicians of all calibre and genre.

Kewsound Studios is conveniently located in Rural Kewstoke Village, just north of Weston-super-Mare and only around 5 minutes easy drive from the M5 corridor.
